Inspiration
This sculpture was commissioned by Nike as a statement piece to highlight the similarities between the athleticism it takes to be a soccer player and skateboarder. The design depicts a skateboarder doing a kickflip, and morphing over the course of 11 life-size figures into a soccer player. They hosted a private event featuring the rollout of their Tiempo shoe.
The sculpture was on display at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
